Alessandro Xiueref, better known as ASCO, is the Italian DJ, producer, and conductor who is redefining the rules of electronic music with his groundbreaking show, Symphony of CAOS.
ASCO has achieved international fame as a DJ and producer, ranked #131 in the DJ Mag Top 100. He has performed across the globe, from the USA to China, Japan, Vietnam, India, Nepal, and Thailand, playing at major festivals like Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Balaton Sounds, and at world-renowned clubs such as Illuzion Phuket, Playhouse Chengdu, Playhouse Chongqing, and Catwalk Guangzhou.
Discovered by Sander Van Doorn and Blasterjaxx, ASCO has released dozens of tracks on Spinnin’ Records, including collaborations with the Dutch duo. His distinctive sound has also caught the attention of Don Diablo and Hardwell, who have released his music on Hexagon and Revealed. His iconic track “Fuga”, released on Doorn, was featured by GoPro in their annual “Year in Review” campaign.
ASCO’s brand, CAOS, represents a new concept that encompasses a record label, live shows, and a clothing line. In 2022, ASCO launched Symphony of CAOS, a unique and immersive experience that blends various art forms into an unprecedented show. Featuring ASCO conducting a live orchestra, accompanied by a classical choir and theatrical performances, the project has become the centerpiece of his career, establishing ASCO as the first orchestral DJ, often hailed as “the classical music DJ”.

As we will see later, the configuration of the orchestra is modular and can be adapted according to the venue’s capacity or the specific needs of the event. The full ensemble consists of 24 musicians, plus a lyrical choir, but it can be downsized as needed.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Symphony of CAOS is the ability to assemble the orchestra on-site, involving local artists from the host city. These musicians are trained directly by ASCO during rehearsals in the days leading up to the show, thus highlighting local talent and the region’s culture.
CHOIR

ASCO has brought his sound to stages all over the world, performing across the United States, China, Japan, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Thailand, and Europe, captivating audiences with his high-energy, powerful DJ sets. His performances have lit up major festivals such as the Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Balaton Sound in Hungary, and he has headlined some of the most iconic clubs on the international scene, including Illuzion Phuket, LOD Kathmandu, Altromondo Studio in Italy, and EPIC Prague.
At the same time, his productions have been released on some of the most influential electronic music labels: Spinnin’ Records, Doorn, Maxximize (with a collaboration with Blasterjaxx), Revealed, Hexagon, Future House Music, and soon a new mainstream project with Warner Music.
